Ping Mod

So you wonder why you have greens bars and still have lag?
That's because the ping bars doesn't represent that wel. With this mod we will change it.
Don't worry I know we change a config, but you won't get banned for this one. trust me on that, iv'e been playing like this for months.


Original bars

So go to 'program files\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players' and open the file config_mp.cfg


And change scoresping_interval from 100 to 20, and maxbars from 4 to 10 (10 is the max).

Save and start the game.


Then you see the REAL ping. Also you can easly spot the host ;-) (always 10 green bars)

So again, this will not get you banned ;-)

The new UI beta is nice, wait...

a large download for modern warfare 2, this is DLC new maps, dedicted servers etc...

LOL STOP DREAMING!!! THERE NEVER WILL BE SH♥T LIKE THAT!

It's your game redownloading! XD
How to fix this. Wel just:

go to view / settings

then in the account tab go unpartcipate the beta

RESTART steam

Then when steam restarts

go to view / settings

then in the account tab go partcipate the beta again

RESTART steam

-go to \Steam\resource\styles

-open steam.styles with notepad or text editor

-change:

// cool we can define font-families here as well
basefont="Arial"
basefontbold="Arial Bold"

TO

// cool we can define font-families here as well
basefont="Arial"
basefontbold="Arial"

Dont forget to save changes and RESTART steam

(you can put in any font you want, i went for Tschich ^^)
